All we do is win win win!

All we do is win win win no matter what what what! We are at the Peachtree Classic in Atlanta, GA currently.

Today was a great day for the team! Despite all the trials and tribulations from this week, we pushed through and came to play.
The day started with a 3 team pool, which we took first place in. The pools then shuffled depending on the first pool placement, and we went into another 3 team pool, which we took first in again! So at the end of the day, we won both our pools today and went undefeated all day! Such a greaaaattt feeling. The girls truly played awesome and I’m so proud of them. We move to the gold bracket tomorrow to try and play for the championship. Because we won both pools today, we have a first round bye tomorrow and are automatically in the quarter finals for our first match.
The girls had a great time and looked pretty snazzy in their new gold uniforms!

Tournament Tip: Create traditions for your team. Have a warm up cheer, break down the huddle in certain ways, and have a routine that you do after every match regardless of the outcome. We do a cheer after we hit irony warm-up and always gather in the middle of the court to do a quick cheer after the game. It creates unity as a team and gets the girls in the mindset they need.

Well, after a delicious team dinner and a trip to yogurt mountain, the coaches are exhausted. Were going to watch some tv in our hotel rooms (I hope ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ is on!), pack up our stuff and get rested up for tomorrow. We have daylight savings time so we are losing yet ANOTHER hour! 6am is going to come early, but I’m feeling a championship tomorrow!! Wish us luck!
